Boston’s task wasn’t ever going to be an easy one as they were injury-depleted going into Sunday’s game, missing Jae Crowder and new recruit Al Horford.
Also weighing in with points for the Nuggets were Wilson Chandler, who added 22 points before leaving the game through injury, Danilo Gallinari, who scored 16, and Gary Harris and Jamal Murray who each had 12 for the Nuggets.
