University of Connecticut Center Amida Brimah headlines a strong field of Ghanaian prospects featuring in America’s top University basketball tournament (NCAA Division I Championship) in the 2016-2017 season.

Aside the 6 foot 11 inch defensive linchpin, Ghana will see more players at the elite collegiate level beginning with Ernest Aflakpui. The 6 foot 10 inch Forward is in his second season for Temple University and is averaging six points and 6.8 rebounds in four games played.

The Owls will take on Florida State University today in New York City as Aflakpui is likely to see more time on the court after fully recovering from a torn knee meniscus injury.
