He made the statement in an interview with Basketballghana.com after handing out prizes to winners of the basketball competition at the just ended 7th Mini GUSA Games which took place at the University of Cape-Coast (UCC).
“It’s a partnership we already have which is just a continuation of what we are already doing. So yes Cowbell will still be here wherever there is the opportunity for people to develop their brains, develop their bodies, Cowbell is there to offer its support” he said.
University of Ghana (UG) emerged champions after beating host UCC 75-56 in the final game as University of Development Studies (UDS) topped Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) 49-46 to win third place.
Standout athletes from the competition will be selected to represent the country at the World University Games in Taipei, Taiwanin August.
Other disciplines were featured in the multi sport event in Ghana’s Central Region including table tennis, football, and netball among others.
