The exercise is expected to run to February 24 to allow all teams competing in the various divisions in Ghana’s best basketball league, enough time to register players for the 2017 season.

Teams in the Men’s Divisions I and II and Women’s Division are expected to partake in this exercise including new entrants Adenta Leopards and Tema Youth’s Junior side who gained promotion to Division I by placing first and second respectively in the lower tier.

The new season is set to commence on March 9 in the Women’s Division while games in the men’s division tip off a day later on March 10.

Teams in the respective divisions will be aiming to depose winners Braves of Customs.

Braves female side went unbeaten on its way to a title same way its male side bossed the Men’s Division I to another title.

However, neither team was able to represent Ghana in international competitions notable the FIBA Zone Three Africa Championship held in neighboring Togo.
