The Western Regional Basketball Association is scheduled to hold its annual congress on Saturday February 18 at the SSNIT Hall in the capital, Sekondi-Takoradi; the program is scheduled to start at 17:00 GMT.

Top of the itinerary of the Congress is the election of regional executives for the year with incumbent President Ebo Simpson in line to be re-elected.

For Association Public Relations Officer Nasiru Aboney, planned meet is a necessary one. He said, “We will then be at the SSNIT Hall at exactly 5:00 PM to use ballot boxes and papers instead of our normal basket and basketball to determine the outcome of our Western Region basketball in the years to come”.
