Brimah blocks shot.

University of Connecticut (UCONN) repeated a blowout win over University of South Florida last night at the Gampel Pavilion with the home side run away with a 97-51 win.

Ghana Center Amida Brimah scored in double figures for the third consecutive game as he missed out on a double-double.

He scored 12 points, grabbed eight rebounds, made a steal and blocked four shots in 25 minutes.

Renowned for his top defensive skills, Brimah has been impressive in the last couple of game on the offensive end by improving his production lately.

Last night’s game came with an efficient line as he converted all four attempts from the field and repeated the feat from the free throw line.

Point Guard Rodney Purvis led the team in scoring as he notched 23 points with Shooting Guard Jalen Adams contribute 18 points.

UCONN was ruthless from the three point zone as the side converted 16 shots in all.The win puts the Huskies just a win shy of matching its losses for the season in the win column.
