Ernest Aflakpui churned out one of his worse games for the season in Temple University’s 50-66 loss in front of home fans at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia to Southern Methodist University (SMU) in the NCAA Division last night.

The low scoring had only five players score in double figures with Ghana Forward Aflakpui pouring in just two points and grabbed five rebounds in 21 minutes of play.

His night turned out worse as he recorded four fouls that limited his time and contribution on the court. The 6 foot 10 inch second year player is one of Ghana’s NBA prospects in the American College system.

However, the loss is Temple’s 12th of the season and another loss will tie its total wins for the year.

For SMU, the win is the 21st for the season as it looks forward to a run in the postseason tournament.
Temple will be in action on Sunday February 12 against the University of Memphis.
