Wednesday was a night of great highpoints for the season in the NBA as 28 teams took to the floor and witnessed Nigerian-Greek forward Giannis Antetokounmpo get his 13th 30-point game, James Harden put up his 15th triple-double and Russell Westbrook pass Oscar Robertson for third most triple-doubles in a season.

Thunder strikes Knicks

Russell Westbrook’s 27th triple-double of the season (38 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists), led OKC past the New York Knicks 116-105. Nigerian-American guard Victor Oladipo had 21 points and four rebounds, and Jerami Grant had 13 points and five rebounds

The Knicks were led by Carmelo Anthony with 30 points, four rebounds and four assists, Derrick Rose had 25 points, four rebounds and seven assists, and Courtney Lee had 16 points and four rebounds.

Bucks rip Nets

The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Brooklyn Nets 129-125 on the back of Nigerian-Greek forward Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 33 points, nine rebounds and four steals, Greg Monroe had 25 points and eight rebounds, while Khris Middleton had 20 points and seven assists.

The Nets where led by Brook Lopez with 36 points and four rebounds, Spencer Dinwiddie had 19 points, five rebounds and eight assists, and Trevor Booker had 18 points and five rebounds.

Heat downs Rockets

The Miami Heat defeated the Houston Rockets 117-109. Hassan Whiteside had a 23-point, 14-rebound double-double, Dion Waiters had 23 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, while Goran Dragic had 21 points and five assists.

James Harden led the Rockets with his 15th triple-double of the season (38 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists), Ryan Anderson had 17 points and six rebounds, while Clint Capela and Eric Gordon combined for 24 with 12 points apiece.

Pelicans take Memphis

The New Orleans Pelicans beat the Memphis Grizzlies 95-91. Solomon Hill had 23 points and five rebounds, Jrue Holiday had 19 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, while Anthony Davis finished with 18 points and seven rebounds.

The Grizzlies were led by Mike Conley with 17 points and four assists, Zach Randolph had 16 points and nine rebounds, and Marc Gasol ended the game with a 15-point, 12-rebound double-double.

Spurs stop Magic

The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Magic in Orlando 107-79. LaMarcus Aldridge had 23 points, Kawhi Leonard had 22 points and five rebounds, and Patty Mills had 13 points and six assists.

Nikola Vucevic led the Magic with a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double, Aaron Gordon had 11 points and six rebounds, Jeff Green had 11 points and Congolese center Bismack Biyombo finished with four points and three rebounds.

Cavs too hot for Pacers

The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Indiana Pacers 113-104. LeBron James had 31 points, five rebounds and four assists, Kyrie Irving had 26 points and seven assists, while Kyle Korver ended the game with 22 points and five rebounds.

The Pacers were led by Glenn Robinson III with 19 points and six rebounds, Jeff Teague had a 15-point, 11-assist double-double, and Myles Turner had 15 points and seven rebounds.

The Boston Celtics beat the Philadelphia 76ers 116-108 on the back of Isaiah Thomas’ 33 points, a big fourth quarter helped the Toronto Raptors beat the Charlotte Hornets 90-85, the Detroit Pistons beat the Dallas Mavericks 98-91, The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Denver Nuggets 112-99 on Andrew Wiggins’ 40 points, the Utah Jazz beat the Portland Trail Blazers 111-88, the Phoenix Suns gave the Los Angeles Lakers a 36-point game beating them 137-101, the LA Clippers beat the Atlanta Hawks 99-84, and the Golden State Warriors got revenge on the Sacramento Kings defeating them 109-86.
