Don Bosco Giants have failed in its latest attempt to announce its presence on the Ghanaian scene after falling flat in the ongoing Campaign Tournament of the Tema Community Basketball League.
The tournament, which is a curtain raiser for the league’s upcoming season, has Bosco play in Group B against Ashaiman Lions, Tema Heat and Community 12.
However, the young side lost all three games including a humiliating 6-47 loss to Tema Heat and 20-56 to Ashaiman Lions to crash out of the competition.
This follows a similar experience the side went through late last year in the Under 19 competition during the League’s All-Star activities.
Bosco crashes out of the competition with Community 12 with Ashaiman Lions and Heat taking the two top spots in the group.
The latter duo qualify to the quarter finals; Group A top duo of Nungua Coldstore and Community 2 have already booked their respective places in the stage.
The quarterfinals, semis and finals take place at Tema’s Community 4 Court on March 12.
