The multi purpose court will host all four games in the round.
The Eusbett Court is tabbed to host the round’s evening games.

The GSP Basketball League tips off on March 4 after a lengthy break with Week 8 games slated to take place at the Eusbett Court in Sunyani.

However, the round will be played in the latter part of the day unlike in previous rounds which were marked by 8:00 AM GMT game times.

The Eusbett Court has been upgraded with new floodlights that light up the court making it possible for games to be played at night.

Prior to the improved lighting system at Eusbett, the early game time arrangement was made to avoid poor visibility issues that affect teams playing later in the day due to poor lighting at the league’s three venues including Sunyani Technical Court (STU) and University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) Court.

The new provision is sure to help increase spectatoring at the venue since supporters of the various teams can catch games at more convenient times in the day.

Catholic University College, Ghana (CUCG) Saints play LIR in the opening game at 14:30 GMT before defending champions Suncity Braves play Sunyani Technical University in the second game of the round.

Desert Rabbits game against Barracks Scorpions precedes the final game between UENR and West Siders.

All games are a repeat of what transpired in Week 7. Below are results of games played in the last round:

West Siders 29-25 UENR

Scorpions 33-59 Rabbits

STU 42-49 Braves

LIR 20-28 CUCG Saints
