West Siders, Rabbits headline Week 9 in GSP League

Fast riser Desert Rabbits is set to meet West Siders later today for a headline grabbing showdown at the Eusbett Hotel Court in Week 9 of the GSP Basketball League in Sunyani later today; the game is scheduled to tipoff at 17:00 GMT.

The Rabbits have started the second round of the league on a bright note with the side beating Barracks Scorpions 34-16 in Week 8; making its way from the bottom half of the standings to third in the process. Further ascent will be tested by fifth placed West Siders.

The game will be preceded by ties involving Sunyani Technical University (STU) and University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) and Barracks Scorpions and Catholic University College, Ghana (CUCG) Saints.

The final game of the round has LIR Royals take on defending champions and league leaders Suncity Braves.
