Pentecost warming up.
Wisconsin (light green) in action.
Highly rated duo Marshalls University College and All Nations University College have made it to the semifinals of the ongoing Private Universities Sports Association Games (PUSAG) basketball competition.

Both teams who are set to compete later in the week in the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship knockout games on April 7 at the University of Ghana (UG) slipped past their respective quarterfinal opponents.

Defending champions Marshalls beat Pentecost University College 35-26 in the opening tie before Radford University got the better of Ghana Technology University College (GTUC-Accra) 29-22.

Radford lost to Marshalls in last year’s final game and both teams are on track for a repeat clash.

All Nations squeezed past Regent University with an 18-17 win while Islamic University College overwhelmed Central University with a 23-10 victory.

Central scrapped through to the semifinals after winning a protest against Wisconsin International University College after the latter fielded an unqualified player in the final preliminary tie.

Marshalls take on Islamic University while Radford plays All Nations University College in the semis on April 6.
