Despite drawing Accra Technical University (ATU) in the quarterfinals of the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship Group B, University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) Point Guard Robert Brew has stated his side is set to light up the Championship.

Two time winners ATU is in Group B with UENR, All Nations University College and University of Development Studies (UDS-Tamale).

Speaking to Basketballghana.com after the draw, the exciting floor general recognized the threat of the 2015 winners stating, “ATU is a very strong team well known due to their immense contribution in the UPAC Championship over the years.

Team UENR we coming strong and solid…expect nothing but great basketball”.

UENR qualified from Zone F with an unblemished record after beating the likes of Sunyani Technical University to top the zone. Brew was named MVP in the 2016 zonal edition.

The knockout stage of the UPAC Championship takes place on April 7 and April 8 at the University of Ghana (UG).

UG who double as the reigning champions are in Group A with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Marshalls University College and University of Cape-Coast.
