Tema Youth has won its crunch tie against Tudu Magic by beating the latter 84-73 in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I at the Lebanon House Court.
The matchup was expected to be a tough duel with the two sides occupying the top spots in the league standings. It lived up to expectation as both teams played out an exciting game befitting a headline game in Ghana’s premier basketball league.
However, the game will be most remembered for the shooting exhibition that played out in the final quarter of the matchup. Tema Youth’s veteran Shooting Guard Ebenezer Borsah went toe to toe with Magic Shooting Guard Elvis Pobi Siaw as both players traded three point shots.
Each player bagged four makes beyond the three point arc in a wild finish to the game. Borsah buried a couple of three point shots prior to the fourth quarter while Pobi-Siaw struggled to get it going with his side in a mess in the second quarter.
However, the marksmanship from both players made for an interesting ending to the game.
