Magic (blue) lost 52-69 to Fire.

Fire (yellow) proved too much for Navy to handle.

Fire Service’ crunch matchup against Braves of Customs later today at the Lebanon House Court tops the latest round of games in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I set to be played later today at 17:00 GMT.

Fire remains the only unbeaten side in the league notching four wins in four games this season and faces a raging Braves side that has found its groove after a wobbly start.

After losing 78-84 to Tema Youth, Braves has been on a demolition mission since destroying teams in its wake including a 100-46 win over Adenta Leopards.

Fire impressed but was far from dominant in its 61-57 win over bottom ranked DC Dynamics in its last outing. A win over Braves will fling Fire Service to the top of the division.

DC Dynamics take on Ghana Navy in the last game of the round in a key battle as both teams vie to avoid extending respective winless runs.

Both teams are without for the season with Dynamics featuring in three games one less fewer than Navy; unsurprisingly both teams occupy the last spots in the standings.
