UENR placed fourth at the 2017 UPAC.

Suncity Braves.
Should the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) win the GSP Basketball League title later today, it will mark a very successful year for the tertiary side.

The team will be involved in a title decider against Suncity Braves later today at Eusbett Hotel Court in Sunyani as the league comes to a close with the final round of games scheduled to be played.

UENR lies second in the standings with 22 points just a point behind league leaders and defending champions Braves ahead of the clash and a win will clinch the title.

The team looks good to beat Braves after following up a wonderful campaign in the UPAC (Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges) Basketball Championship with a 56-6 over Barracks Scorpions.

At the UPAC, UENR placed fourth losing out on a bronze medal to two time winners Accra Technical University. Despite the loss, it was a good effort from the side considering UENR only made its debut in the competition in 2016.

UENR can end the season on another high note by beating Braves to the GSP league title.
