Fire Service (red) beat University of Ghana 36-32.

Fire has lost four games since beating UG.
The Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division comes alive later today at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu with two games set to be played.

Fire Service takes on University of Ghana (UG) in the opening game of the round at 17:00 GMT with Ghana Navy taking on league leaders Tudu Galaxy in the second game.

While Galaxy’s matchup against Navy is a straight battle for the league’s summit, the UG-Fire game is a battle to escape the lower end of the standings.

UG sits in fourth spot with seven points having won two of five games while Fire sits bottom of the standings with six points and just a win from five games.

However, Fire could earn its second win of the season by repeating its winning performance it had against the same side earlier in the campaign.

Fire topped UG 36-32 in that game which has turned out to be the team’s only win thus far. A repeat performance will see the side overtake UG in the standings.
