Braves of Customs matchup against University of Ghana (UG) has failed to take place at the Lebanon House Court.

The game which was scheduled to be the second tie in the latest round of games in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division, was not honored due to administrative reason per reports gathered by Basketballghana.com.

The new date for the postponed game is yet to be known.

Defending Champions Braves lie second in the standings with nine points three places above bottom ranked UG in the five team roster division; UG has eight points having won two of six games for the season.

The tie is of major importance to both sides as results will inevitably affect either side’s ascent or descent in the standings.

While a win gives Braves a shot at making the best out of an underperforming season, UG needs the win to avoid the ignominy of ending the league stationed at the base of the standings.

However, the opening game on the fixture list between Ghana Navy and Fire Service did come off with Fire winning 53-51 in an exciting duel.
