Another round, another loss; That is the situation Tema Community Basketball League outfit Don Bosco Giants finds itself following a 24-28 loss to AK Rifles in the last round of games played.

The Ashaiman-based side started the game with just a win from previous outings including an 18-24 loss to fellow Ashaiman side, Warriors; its sole win in the ongoing season came via a walkover win after Adenta Leopards failed to show up for the scheduled fixture.

Giants trailed 0-7 after the first quarter but made a strong comeback to end the second quarter trailing by a point (10-11) with the likes of Fred Yambe, Senanu Klutse and Aziz Yambe scoring crucial points for the side.

Aziz gave Bosco an 18-16 lead to give his side the game lead for the first time with a three point shot.

However, the lead did not last a reply in equal measure from Rifles got the Akatsi side back in the fray and would go on to win its first game of the season.
