Coldstore also won the preseason competition.

Kings played on April 23 but lost to defending champs Nungua Coldstore.

Defending Tema Community Basketball League Champions Nungua Coldstore will feature in a league game for the first time since taking on Korle-Bu Kings on April 23.

The side will be in action in the upcoming round of games on Sunday May 21 at the Tema Community 4 Court against Tema Community12.

This will be the first time in just under a month since the reigning champions last graced the court in a matchup against the Kings ending in a win for Coldstore.

Situations like these have prompted league officials to alter the league’s schedule and reduce the periods in between game days.

Per the original schedule, Nungua was pegged to compete against the Kings on May 28 which would have extended the team’s wait to over a month.
Action in Group A will be completed with last year’s runner up Ashaiman Lions taking on Teshie Rangers. In Group B, Tema Community 2 face Don Bosco Giants and AK Rifles play Tema Heat.
