Leopards (yellow) outscored Fire in the first round but lost in the second.

Braves (white) got the better of Fire.
Fire Service has inflicted a 60-46 win over Adenta Leopards in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I midweek game played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

The third ranked team in the division made light work of Adenta who are making their debut appearance in the Division after winning the Division II Championship last year.

The win also gives Fire the perfect revenge over Leopards following a 64-67 loss to the latter in the final game for both teams in the first round of the 2017 campaign.

Having played with the newly installed 24 second shot clock in an exhibition game recently, Fire’s men looked more comfortable leading the side to its first win in the second half of the season.

Leopards on the other hand, have missed a big chance to distance itself from a jam packed mid section of the standings which has the likes of Tudu Magic in strong contention.

After finishing this season’s first half on a two game losing run, the win over Leopards has halted the run.
