2016 Tema Community Basketball League finalists Ashaiman Lions and Nungua Coldstore will play each other later today at the Tema Community 4 Court.
The Group A game headlines an exciting group of fixtures that has Teshie Rangers and Reformers of Prisons play in the opening game at 3:30 GMT.
In Group B, Ashaiman warriors take on Tema Community 4 and Tema Heat plays Ghana Navy.
Both Lions and reigning champions Coldstore are yet to lose a game this season prior to the crunch matchup which has Ashaiman heading into the fixture with three straight losses against Nungua.
The tie between last season’s top ranked duo was scheduled to take place in April but got postponed due to heavy rain that inundated the court.
Rangers on the other hand will be looking to halt a two game losing run as they play a young Reformers side that has impressed this season.
