Games in Tema Basketball League’s Group A due to take place today at Tema’s Community 4 Court have been postponed.
The fixtures have been cancelled due to a huge contingent of players from teams in the group in Cape-Coast for this year’s Basketball Festival.
Players from Ghana Police, Ashaiman Lions and Junior Reformers are in Ghana’s Central Region capital for the annual event which has ended but players cannot make it in time to honor the games today.
Games between Police and Ashaiman Lions and Junior Reformers of Prisons and Tema Community 5 were set to be honored later today but officials have called off the game to players enough to rest.
The cancelled games are yet to have a rescheduled date.
As such, only games in Group B will be played as Tema Community 4 take on Teshie Rangersin the opening game at 17:30 GMT.
Community 4 plays Ghana Navy in the final game of the round at 18:30 GMT in the headline game of the round.
