Dunks Knight and DC Aspirants have recorded losses in the latest round of games in the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II season.
Knight lost 58-72 to Tudu Galaxy in the opening game before Aspirants lost 56-75 to CYO in the next game; both fixtures were honored at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
The loss is Dunks second of the season while DC recorded its third straight miss on a win in the campaign and maintains its place at the bottom half of the standings.
Knight loss was a straight forward inferior production to homeside Galaxy’s but matters were complicated in Aspirants loss.
The game ended with little over a minute left to play in the final quarter since DC had just one player on the court since the remaining members fouled out.
Aspirants played the game shorthanded and the problem exacerbated when fouls piled up and players had to be withdrawn from the tie.
On the other hand, CYO is cruising at this point in the campaign recording its third straight win.
