Lions (yellow) v Reformers.
Coldstore (blue) easily run out winners in the tie with C5.

Coldstore’s Kwame Boamah gets heavy attention from Junior Reformers in the first matchup.
Junior Reformers of Prisons and Tema Community 5 failed to show up at the Tema Community 4 Court for a tie in the Tema Basketball League.

The teams were scheduled to face off in the second game of the last round of games played over the weekend but neither team was present at the court.

Reasons for their absences are yet to be known officially as no word has come from the league executive board since the incident took place.

The unfortunate happening isn’t the first no show from either team Reformers have abandoned a tie against Ghana Police earlier in the season.

The first game between the teams also failed to take place since Community 5 failed to show up at the league venue for the tie.

With a few rounds left to play in the regular season, Reformers place in the postseason is all but assured with the likes of C5 rooted deep in the bottom half.

As such, only two games were honored at the venue with Ghana Navy inking a 59-26 win over Don Bosco Giants and Ghana Police losing 39-47 to Nungua Coldstore.
