Innovative basketball quiz contest “Jump Ball” winner Sani Alhassan has stated he is excited to win the keenly contested competition.

The contest which run for several weeks on trendy basketball television show “Courtside” which airs on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports, had the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Pharmacy Student win the first position.

Speaking to Basketballghana.com after the competition, Alhassan couldn’t hide his delight after walking away with 1000 Ghana Cedis, shopping vouchers and two basketballs.

“It was a great opportunity to represent myself on a platform as huge as this (Courtside). I was excited that I won but I didn’t expect it all” he said.

Alhassan powered through questions in Ghana’s basketball circles and international scenes including matters related to the NBA.

Etornam Kudolo and Emmanuel Pratt placed second and third respectively in the competition which run for ten weeks.
Ghana Basketball Association Chairman David Addo Ashong was on hand to make the presentations and commended contestants for their “intimidating” knowledge in the sport.
