CYO (yellow) topped Novas in the opening game.

Rangers beat Spartans (green).

CYO will be in action later tonight in the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II season against Junior Rangers.

The game, which is expected to tip off in the wee hours of the Ghanaian night, headlines a pair of games scheduled to be played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

Akatsi Rifles is up against Tudu Galaxy in the opening tie scheduled for 17:00 GMT jump ball in a contest the latter team is heavily tipped to win. Rifles is the lowest ranked team in the standings while Galaxy sits sixth.

Ranked just a spot below Galaxy, Rangers will be aiming to be the first team in the ongoing campaign to beat CYO since the latter has won all four games played.

The team beat Novas Academy 64-53 in the last round to maintain its spot in second place inthe standings only behind leaders Ghana Police.

Rangers have played a game fewer than CYO recording two wins in three games; with Police absent in this week’s round of games, a win for CYO puts them at the league’s summit as the team aims at claiming a spot in the elite division.
