CYO (yellow) topped Novas in a previous game.
Rangers beat Spartans (green).
Rifles.
Nothing has changed for teams that wrapped up games in the opening set of fixtures in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II.

For bottom side Akatsi Rifles, the team’s position on the standings remain the same following a 44-70 loss to Tudu Galaxy in the opening tie at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

While CYO’s 57-46 win over Junior Rangers ensures the team skips past Ghana Police to the summit of the league, its winning run remains intact.

The latest round of results mean Rifles winless run in this year’s competition has been extended to four after similar loss to Junior Reformers and Reformers of Prisons in previous games.

Akatsi headed to the fixture 13th on the standings and unsurprisingly lost to the higher ranked Galaxy side.

At this early juncture of the season which is slated to end in December, CYO has stormed out of the gate and is on track to make the cut for promotion to the elite division next season.

The team is unbeaten in five games.
