Warriors (red) faced a loss prior to the cancellation.

Navy Warriors have clinched its maiden win of the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II season.

The win comes via a 66-43 win over Dunks Knights in the rescheduled game played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

The game was originally played a few days ago but rain interrupted the matchup in the final quarter leading to the postponement.

With little over six minutes remaining in the game and Knights leading 37-28, showers drizzled on the court forcing game officials to call of the match.

Having lost all two games played prior, Knights was on track to clinch its first win of the season but that honor now goes to Warriors.

Heading to the game, both teams were without wins this season and by beating Knights, Warriors get off the mark.

Both teams will be involved in matchups on Friday September 22 and Saturday September 23 with Warriors up against Panthers and Knights up against Spartans respectively.
