Junior Reformers in ABL

Junior Reformers
Novas Academy’s tie against Junior Reformers will be played tonight at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu at 17:00 GMT in a rescheduled fixture.

The 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II fixture was originally set to be played on Saturday September 23 at the same venue but got cancelled due to rain.

Consistent showers have affected most parts of Ghana’s capital, Accra for several days leading officials to call off the game.

The surface at the league venue is at the mercy of the weather due to its open trait meaning games have to be cancelled at the slightest hint of rain.

Aside Novas-Junior Reformers tie, Dunks Knights game against Navy Warriors suffered the same fate with the game called off in the final quarter.

With little over six minutes remaining in the fourth quarter and Warriors trailing Dunks 28-37, rain showers drizzled on the court making the floor slippery and dangerous to play on.

Ahead of tonight’s encounter, Reformers will be aiming for a second straight week following a 92-80 win over DCD Aspirants in the last round

Novas on the other hand, is in search of its second win of the season.
