Novas (red) recorded its first loss of the season.
CYO (yellow) topped Novas in a previous game.
Rifles (black) against Junior Reformers.

Ghana Police returns to action in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II later tonight with a big tie set up against CYO.

The game is scheduled to tip off at 17:00 GMT at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu in a game featuring two of the best performing teams in the league this season.

CYO sit second in the standings with 10 points after winning five games in as many games; the team rank behind leaders Reformers of Prisons on goal difference.

Police on the other hand lie third with eight points by winning all four games played; Reformers and CYO have played a game more than Police.

The team was inactive in a round that had Reformers blow DCD Aspirants 64-37 and CYO beat Junior Rangers 57-46. A win tonight for Police guarantees top spot on a tentative basis since Reformers will be in action on Saturday September 30 against Novas Academy in a tie Reformers are tipped to win.

Akatsi Rifles take on Navy Warriors in the second games scheduled for tonight.
