DCD Aspirants have won its second game in the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II season courtesy a win over Spartans.

Aspirants beat Spartans 43-36 in the latest round of the campaign which took place at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

Heading to the fixture, Aspirants had won just once in nine outings this season thanks to a 78-73 win over Tudu Galaxy.

The win matches Aspirants record in the same bracket as Dunk Knights and Akatsi Rifles in the ongoing campaign.

On the other hand, Spartans woeful season continues as the side has just a win to show for its efforts all season long.

The team has won just once in 10 games this year and will remain rooted at the bottom of the standings following the latest loss.

Aspirants have 13 points following its second win while Spartans have 11 points. The second game of the round between Knights and Junior Reformers was rained off.
