As the affiliate side to the five time NBA Champions, Austin Spurs regularly has players on the fringes of the main team feature for the lower tier side.
Brimah played three preseason for San Antonio prior to getting cut and signing up for Austin; he is likely to feature for the team when its takes on Salt Lake Stars in the team’s opening game.
2011 NBA Draft Second Round pick Bertans has featured sparingly for the team this season while first year Point Guard White is likely to rarely see the floor since veteran Point Guard Tony Parker is back from injury.
The four time Champions spent some time with Austin at practices as he continues his recovery from a quadriceps injury. He, Dejounte Murray and Patty Mills will share playmaking duties.
For Amida, having a few familiar faces can’t hurt as he prepares to battle for an NBA call up.
