Ghana Police head into tonight’s fixtures in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II with a big chance to clinch top spot in the division.

The team lies second in the standings with 19 points from nine wins in ten games; two behind leaders Reformers of Prisons who have 10 wins in 11 games this season.

Police play its penultimate game of the campaign against Tudu Galaxy in one of two games scheduled to be honored at the Lebanon House Court.

With Police all but sealing progress to Division I for next season’s campaign, the next target is to clinch the division’s title ahead of rivals Reformers.

Following Prisons 91-63 beat down on Dunk Knights, Police need to win to maintain the pressure on the division’s leading side ahead of the final round of games.

Ninth ranked Tudu Galaxy has a lot to do to clinch a win in what would be the team’s sixth in 11 games in the campaign.

Sixth ranked CYO take on 11th ranked Akatsi Rifles in the opening game at 16:00 GMT. Police play Galaxy immediately after the tie.
