Pillars featuring in last season African Championship.
Braves of Customs Male Basketball Team has beaten Aspak from Benin 75-61 at the ongoing FIBA Africa Zone 3 Club Championship Qualifiers.

Beating Aspak represents a good start for the Ghanaian side who lost to the side from Benin two years ago in the Championship.

The win is Braves first in the team’s outing in this year’s tournament and sets the team up in the right frame in upcoming ties against Marks Mentors and Kano Pillars.

Nigerian side Pillars are the reigning champions and are primed to repeat as champions after recording two straight win thus far in the competition.

After clinching last season’s regional title,Pillars strolled to fourth place at the continental games in Egypt with former Braves player Romeo Enan on the roster.
