gspA mini congress in the Global Sporting Platform (GSP) Basketball League is expected to take place at the Sunyani Technical University tonight.
The congress comes at a time the commencement of the new season is still up in the air following several postponement of the start.
The meet Basketballghana.com has been arranged to clear any blockades regarding the new season’s commencement and finally get the campaign underway.
As such prominent among issues set to be discussed at the meeting are announcing game officials, league regulations and prizes to be won for the upcoming season.
A ten minute review of the past season will be conducted and discussions on getting sponsors associated with the league will be highlighted at the program.
Clubs set to register for the upcoming season also get the chance to interact with the league board through its representatives on grey areas in regulations.
The Sunyani-based league is heading to its third season following two successful seasons which had Suncity Braves and University of Energy and Natural Resources win first place respectively.
