The big showdown between the North African giants is the top attraction in a round that has host Angola taking on Democratic Republic of Congo.
Congo is yet to record a win in the competition while Angola is yet to beaten in two games in the competition.
On the other hand, Morocco and Egypt have each won a game in two outings this weekend and face off for potentially second place in the group.
Tonight’s clash is a repeat of this year’s African Nations Championship (AfroBasket) meet where Morocco edged Egypt 66-62.
After beating DR Congo in the opening game, Egypt failed to hold on to an 11 point lead against Angola to fall 64-68.
Morocco however, lost to Angola but recovered well to beat Congo 88-81 in overtime for its first win of the competition.
The 2019 World Cup is hosted by China and a second round of qualifiers will decide which teams pick up Africa’s five slots.
