Dubbed the Campaign Tournament, the competition comes on the heel of the just ended league competition which was won by Community 4.
The competition is due to commence December 9 at Tema’s Chinese Court and is expected to end on December 23.
This year’s league winners are in Group A with Ghana Navy, Ghana Police and Francophone Stars; Stars make the list after beating Tema Rockets 71-31 in a playoff game over the weekend.
Group B has Ashaiman, Nungua Coldstore, Tema Heat and Tema Community 2 meaning a rematch between arch rivals Lions and Coldstore is on the bill. Ashaiman take on Nungua on December 10.
The upcoming competition is the second edition of the tournament following the maiden version which was won by then defending league champions Coldstore.
Nungua beat Tudu Magic to the title with Navy placing third ahead of a season that had Coldstore miss out on defending the league trophy.
