2014 National High School Basketball Champions Keta Senior High School has qualified to compete in the upcoming edition.

KETASCO will represent the Volta Region with Mawuli Senior High School after making the final game of the just ended regional qualifiers.

The next Sprite Ball Championship takes place at the El Wak Stadium in Ghana’s capital Accra in January 2018 with a host of the best performing schools in the country due to compete.

Qualifying to next year’s competition maintains Keta’s impressive streak of appearances since surprisingly missing the January 2016 edition.

Mawuli and Kadjebi Asato Senior High School represented the region in the tournament but Mawuli will be back to challenge for the Sprite Ball title next year.

With two slots up grabs, Mawuli and Keta clinched them by making it past the likes of St. Paul’s and Bishop Herman Senior High Schools to the final game.

Awudome Senior High School will represent Volta Region in the female division where Wesley Girls High School is the reigning champion.
