Tema Heat (white) v Navy in a regular season matchup.

Heat (white) v C2.
Postponing the first set of games in the Tema Basketball League Campaign Tournament has been announced by league officials following uncertainties regarding weather conditions and roster upheavals.

Six games lined up to be played on Saturday and later today have been called off due to the aforementioned reasons.

The preseason competition was set to commence hours ago but heavy rain which hit most parts of Accra affected the Tema Community 4 Court.

The showers rendered the open air court unplayable forcing officials to call off the games which had Tema League Champions Community 4 in line for a tie against Ghana Police.

Moving the games to a yet to be named date also comes as a result of last minute changes to participating teams in the competition.

Prior to the early hours of Saturday, Akatsi Rifles and University of Professional (UPSA) Male Basketball Team were registered to fill in for the likes of Nungua Coldstore who pulled out early.

However, Police and Tema Rockets made a late push and got confirmed as participants. Per reports gathered by Basketballghana.com, a new schedule is being drawn up.
