After a consistent run in the starting unit and posting high numbers, Ghana Center Amida Brimah failed to hit the highs recorded in previous games.

The 6 foot 11 inch Center came off the bench and played 17 minutes in Spurs 100-96 win over Canton Charge in the NBA Gatorade League.

Brimah registered two points, seven rebounds, two assists and a block as he started from the second unit as Matt Costello replaced him in the starting unit.

It was a frustrating time for the former University of Connecticut Captain as he committed two turnovers and fell into foul trouble.

In recent outings, Amida recorded season highs in rebounds and points as he played more minutes as the starting Center for Austin.

Spurs win came at a time Cleveland Cavaliers Guard Isaiah Thomas was reported to feature for Canton Charge as he recuperates from a long term hip injury.

NBA Champion Tony Parker rehabbed a quad injury early this season in the G-League with Austin Spurs before suiting up for San Antonio Spurs.

Costello scored a team high 18 points in the win.
