Sprite Ball Championship record winners Mfantsipim School will prepare for the upcoming edition of the celebrated tournament at Dodowa per reports gathered by Basketballghana.com

According to reliable sources privy to Ghana’s leading basketball portal, the KwaBotwe lads will set up base at the quiet suburb in Ghana’s Capital region.

The school is located in the West African country’s Central Regional capital Cape-Coast but the team is set to change location to the host region.

Mfantsipim won the regional championship played on December 5 at the Robert Mensah Stadium after clinching a 20-18 win over rival St. Augustine’s College in the final game.

Both schools alongside Adisadel College will represent the region at the national games in the boys division.

Reigning Champions Wesley Girls High School and Aggrey Memorial Zion Senior High School are Central Region’s representatives in the female division.

Mfantsipim has won the Sprite Ball Championship on four occasions and has featured in the final game of the last two editions.

The next Sprite Ball Championship takes place from January 4-6, 2018 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.
