UG (blue) beat KNUST 43-35 in the GUSA semifinals.
University of Ghana (UG) Shooting Guard Emmanuel Wolff has stated his side can win more games when they stick together.

He made the statement in an exclusive interview with Basketballghana.com during UG’s preparations for next year’s Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) Games.

The upcoming GUSA Games commence on January 4 and is due to end January 20 with basketball heavily featured in the multi sport competition.

With UG heading to the competition as defending champions albeit with a new look team, the Shooting Guard believes the team’s united front can spur a repeat.

“We have a new Coach, new players but I feel very confident in my team. We’ve put in a lot of work honestly a lot of great guys, great players together I think we can accomplish a lot” he said.

UG beat University of Professional Studies (UPSA) at the last edition in 2016 which was held at the University of Education-Winneba.

The 2018 edition is to be hosted by University of Development Studies in Tamale.
