He made the statement in an exclusive interview with Basketballghana.com during UG’s preparations for next year’s Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) Games.
The upcoming GUSA Games commence on January 4 and is due to end January 20 with basketball heavily featured in the multi sport competition.
With UG heading to the competition as defending champions albeit with a new look team, the Shooting Guard believes the team’s united front can spur a repeat.
“We have a new Coach, new players but I feel very confident in my team. We’ve put in a lot of work honestly a lot of great guys, great players together I think we can accomplish a lot” he said.
UG beat University of Professional Studies (UPSA) at the last edition in 2016 which was held at the University of Education-Winneba.
The 2018 edition is to be hosted by University of Development Studies in Tamale.
