Amida in action against Santa Cruz Warriors.
The NBA midseason trade period is closing in and a host of players are eyeing a move to different teams while others outside the league shuffles for NBA roster spots.

One of such players is Austin Spurs Ghana Center Amida Brimah who has increased his production for San Antonio Spurs Gatorade League affiliate side.

The 6 foot 11 inch Center is averaging six points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game with Spurs who have 14 wins and nine losses.

After starting the season slow, the 2014 National College Champion with University of Connecticut has been in sensational form in recent games.

Amida recorded his double double of the season in Spurs 113-94 win over Long Island Nets by recording 11 points and 10 rebounds.

In his last five games, Brimah has averaged 8.2 rebounds, 3.4 blocks and 9.4 points in a backup role behind starting Center Matt Costello.

Operating on a minimal contract coupled with improved play puts Brimah in line to land on an NBA team.
