Brimah in action for Spurs.

Following a 92-95 loss to Westchester Knicks on Monday January 8, Ghana Center Amida Brimah and Austin Spurs take on Windy City Bulls in the NBA Gatorade League matchup tonight.

Spurs head to the game aiming for a win to avoid back to back losses as the team nears the end of a five game road trip which has had the team play against defending champions Raptors 905.

After starring off the bench in recent matchups, Brimah had a relative quiet showing against Knicks recording five points, an assist and six rebounds.

Conversely, the former University of Connecticut Captain paced the game in blocks recording four as Austin fell three points short off forcing overtime.

Brimah is averaging six points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.6 blocks in 23 games this season.

Newly acquired Chicago Bulls Shooting Guard was expected to feature in tonight’s game for Windy City in his comeback from a lengthy knee injury.

However, the former Minnesota Timberwolves player is in line to make his debut with Chicago on Friday January 19 against Detroit Pistons.
