News trickling in indicates the 2018 league season tips off in March and preparations are being stepped up to meet it.
This means surprise winners of last season’s competition; C4 will put their title credentials on the line again in the coming months.
There is no word yet on the number of teams that will compete in this year’s campaign as the league roster has changed in prior years.
Tema Community 4 did not compete in the pre season competition held in December due to varied reasons including fatigue after a grueling postseason.
However, league finalist Ashaiman Lions featured in the tournament and won the December competition for its first trophy since it began competing in the league.
Since its inception in 2016, the Tema League has had different winners with Nungua Coldstore winning the maiden edition.
C4 beat Lions in two straight games to lift the 2017 trophy.
