The Austin Spurs six game winning streak in the NBA Gatorade League is over following a loss to Memphis Hustle in a game played earlier today.

Memphis beat Austin 120-115 to record the shock win over the Western Conference leading team; heading to the game, Memphis was ranked 12th.

It was a low key feature on the night as the matchup was Spurs first game in five outings at its HEB Center home arena.

Ghana Center Amida Brimah played 25 minutes off the bench and recorded eight points, eight rebounds, four assists and four blocks.

Despite his solid all round production, the league’s leading shot blocker was on the losing side for the first time after six straight wins.

Point Guard Derrick White top scored in the game registering 28 points and Livio Jean-Charles recorded a 20 point, 13 rebound double double.

Omari Johnson and Trahson Burrell of Memphis scored 20 and 21 points respectively in the win. Austin takes on Texas Legends on Saturday while Memphis takes on Wisconsin Herd.
