West Siders and Suncity Braves will play the opening game in the second round of the Global Sporting Platform (GSP) Basketball League.
The tie scheduled to tip off at the Eusbett Court exactly a week from today, is the first of four planned games to mark the return of league games.
The league has been on break since December 16 and February 17 is the start date for the 2017-2018 second round.
West Siders occupy one spot above bottom ranked Catholic University College, Ghana (CUCG) Saints in the eight team league roster.
2015-2016 Champions Braves are third in the standings following three wins and a loss in the first round; Braves lost last season’s title to University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR).
Defending champions UENR feature in the second game of the round against Barracks Scorpions; the latter is ranked fifth.
Sunyani Technical University’s tie against Desert Rabbits and LIR Royals game against CUCG Saints round up the list of games in the round.
