2017 Champions C4.

Reigning Tema Basketball League Champions Tema Community 4 will compete in the warm up tournament for this year’s league campaign.

The competition dubbed Battle Ground Tournament tips off on Sunday February 18 at Tema’s Community 4 Court. The final game will be played on March 11.

Eight teams will play in the three week tourney with Community 4 headlining the compelling roster featuring league side.

C4 joins Ashaiman Lions, Akatsi Rifles, Nungua Coldstore, Ghana Police, Tema Heat, Tema Community 2 and Teshie Rangers to compete starting this weekend.

The competition will be the first time C4 will be inaction since clinching last season’s league title ahead of Ashaiman Lions.

C4 opted not to compete in the preseason competition in December last year citing fatigue after a long league season; Lions won the December tournament.

With over three months gone since winning its first league trophy, the team is ready to get in shape to defend its title later this year.

The 2018 season is reportedly scheduled for tipoff in late March.
