After sealing a move to Spanish league side RETABET Bilbao Basket, Ghana Forward Ben Bentil is likely to be inserted in the roster.
The former Boston Celtics draft pick can be activated for tonight’s game against Delteco GBC in the latest round of games in La Liga ACB.
Bentil moved from French side Champagne Chalons-Reims to Bilbao two weeks ago after averaging 11.7 points and 4.8 rebounds in 20 games.
Bilbao Basket signed the Sekondi born combo Forward largely due to his inside-outside threat he carries as a 6 foot 9 inch player with a three point stroke.
He can also play above the rim and is a big plus on defense when engaged as he has shown in flashes in his career.
Bilbao lies 16th in the 18 team standings and need to win as many games as possible to avoid dropping to the lower division.
Bentil has already played in the NBA for Dallas Mavericks, in China with Xinjiang Guanghui Flying Tigers and Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA Gatorade League.
